Girls, try to stay modest in the way you dress. Dressing provocatively makes it a whole lot harder for men to resist temptation. On hot days, stay cool by wearing long shorts, or better yet a knee length skirts! Skirts keep you cooler than shorts, and they're more modest too! Keep your tops from dipping too low, and you'll be all set! This will keep the boys around you focusing on how funny your jokes are or how pretty yours eyes are INSTEAD of making them tempted.

Pressure Part II
Though dating a non-christian person is generally frowned-upon, sometimes even in a Christian relationship the pressure to have sex is overwhelming. Not only can it come from your boyfriend or girlfriend, but it can also come from your friends and peers.
When I told my friend that my boyfriend and I were planning on waiting, she said that we should just do it now since we love each other and we should just enjoy what we have. And even though that was a year ago, those words still constantly make me feel insecure about our relationship. Though I know she's wrong, I feel left out from everyone around me who knows what its like to be that close to the one you love. But then I remember that while they know what that feels like, they don't know what it feels like to be so close to God. They are doing the opposite of what He wants, and in my heart I know that nothing is worth that.
Next time someone asks you why you won't have sex until you're married, tell them that God knows what is best for you. You know that by following God, you will have a happy life and nothing is worth messing that up! Not even sex. When you get married, there will be so much time for sex and it'll seem more special that you waited anyway. Those who told you to just do it now in high school will be the ones fighting with their spouses and not enjoying sex like God wanted us to. Meanwhile you'll be enjoying God's gift to married Christians for the first time. Doesn't that seem worth it? I think so.

Pressure
Hey guys! Today I was sitting in math class, and the people sitting next to me were talking about something that gave me a great idea for this post. The boy and the girl sitting next to me were talking about having sex for the first time with some other people, and what their worries were and stuff like that. They were making it sound like it was the only thing they could think about. And I thought to myself, where is God in their lives? Nowhere to be seen from my perspective, that's for sure.
When you're surrounded by friends or even just classmates who incessantly talk about sex and how great it is, it can be so hard not to feel left out. And its easy to feel like you're alone in this, but that's part of the reason why I made this site. I go to a very nonreligious school in a very nonreligious area of the country, and when dealing with staying a virgin till marriage, me and my boyfriend really are alone in this. We are sometimes laughed at or made fun of for trying to do what God wants us to do, so we've stopped telling people when they ask. But the key thing is, we haven't given up! And in order for us not to be alone anymore, I made this site so other people trying to do the same thing can get support.
If you're like me, you feel constant pressure to be just like everyone else. But you can't give in! God knows what is best for you, and if you follow him you will be happy. Now you don't have to do it alone though. With Angels in Waiting, you'll always know there is someone else in the same boat as you.
