Pressure

Hey guys! Today I was sitting in math class, and the people sitting next to me were talking about something that gave me a great idea for this post. The boy and the girl sitting next to me were talking about having sex for the first time with some other people, and what their worries were and stuff like that. They were making it sound like it was the only thing they could think about. And I thought to myself, where is God in their lives? Nowhere to be seen from my perspective, that's for sure.

When you're surrounded by friends or even just classmates who incessantly talk about sex and how great it is, it can be so hard not to feel left out. And its easy to feel like you're alone in this, but that's part of the reason why I made this site. I go to a very nonreligious school in a very nonreligious area of the country, and when dealing with staying a virgin till marriage, me and my boyfriend really are alone in this. We are sometimes laughed at or made fun of for trying to do what God wants us to do, so we've stopped telling people when they ask. But the key thing is, we haven't given up! And in order for us not to be alone anymore, I made this site so other people trying to do the same thing can get support.

If you're like me, you feel constant pressure to be just like everyone else. But you can't give in! God knows what is best for you, and if you follow him you will be happy. Now you don't have to do it alone though. With Angels in Waiting, you'll always know there is someone else in the same boat as you.
