Pressure

Hey guys! Today I was sitting in math class, and the people sitting next to me were talking about something that gave me a great idea for this post. The boy and the girl sitting next to me were talking about having sex for the first time with some other people, and what their worries were and stuff like that. They were making it sound like it was the only thing they could think about. And I thought to myself, where is God in their lives? Nowhere to be seen from my perspective, that's for sure.

When you're surrounded by friends or even just classmates who incessantly talk about sex and how great it is, it can be so hard not to feel left out. And its easy to feel like you're alone in this, but that's part of the reason why I made this site. I go to a very nonreligious school in a very nonreligious area of the country, and when dealing with staying a virgin till marriage, me and my boyfriend really are alone in this. We are sometimes laughed at or made fun of for trying to do what God wants us to do, so we've stopped telling people when they ask. But the key thing is, we haven't given up! And in order for us not to be alone anymore, I made this site so other people trying to do the same thing can get support.

If you're like me, you feel constant pressure to be just like everyone else. But you can't give in! God knows what is best for you, and if you follow him you will be happy. Now you don't have to do it alone though. With Angels in Waiting, you'll always know there is someone else in the same boat as you.

This verse goes hand in hand with what this site is about because purity is all about trusting God. Yes, sex seems fun and everyone around you is doing it. But God knows that when you have sex outside of marriage, it can ruin you. He wants you to wait because he knows its the best thing for you. You have to trust him and remember that He knows best, and you will be rewarded one day soon!

Today's Reason to Wait

You don't have to worry about birth control! There's no stressing out about the possibility of being pregnant. That's one less thing you have to worry about, and that's a big deal when you're so busy all the time :)

Things to Do With Your Significant Other When You're Feeling Tempted

1. Go for a jog. Exercise makes you happy & healthy, and working toward a common goal (like running three miles) will bring you two together.

Wearing white on your wedding....to symbolize something REAL! Yea, I know what you're thinking. Everyone wears white on their wedding day blah blah blah. But do you know why that tradition started? Its because back in the good old days (ha ha) brides were ALWAYS pure. White symbolizes purity and virginity. These days, when you marry and you're not a virgin, its like you're living a lie when you wear a white wedding dress. Wait and you'll be proud of yourself on your wedding day!

Wow...

So I haven't been on this in a while. I have to start doing this again! I would have thought I'd be SO FRUSTRATED two months later by staying pure, but I just take it one day at a time. Its been totally fine so far. I'm setting up an email soon so you guys can email me any suggestions for this site. I want to know what you want to see on here.
